贵州农业职业学院是经贵州省人民政府批准，国家教育部备案，由原贵州省畜牧兽医学校、贵州省机电学校、贵州省农业机电学校合并组建而成的全日制普通高等学校，是一所以农业为特色的综合性高职院校。学院以培养农业类技术、管理、服务高级人才为主，并结合社会发展需求，培养机电、经济、食品药品、信息、建筑等实用型技能人才，现面向8个省(市)招生，在招收高职(专科)学生的同时兼招中职学生。

学院现有九系、三部、两中心，即畜牧水产系、机电系、农艺工程系、园林工程系、茶学系、食品与药品系、经济管理系、信息工程系、城镇建设与设计系、基础教学部、继续教育部、学报编辑部、实训与技能鉴定中心及现代教学信息中心，共开设25个专业。

学院现有专任教师255人，其中高级职称77人，中级职称81人，博士研究生4人，硕士研究生67人。

学院分清镇、云岩、乌当及凯里4个校区，其中主校区位于贵州(清镇)职教城西区，校园占地面积近70 hm2，建筑面积逾23万m2。学院依山傍水、环境优美、交通便捷，是读书治学的理想园地。

学院紧紧围绕贵州区域经济和现代农业发展需求为建设宗旨，坚持特色办学。依托行业优势资源，紧密联系贵州省农委各级业务部门及相关站、所展开教学和科研，并与我省400余个现代高效农业示范园区和农业类龙头企业深度融合，走“产学研推”一体的多元化办学道路。积极与国内20余所农业类知名大学开展交流与合作，并与江苏农牧科技职业技术学院、新疆农业职业技术学院、台湾地区屏东科技大学联合办学。成为贵州省培养和输送中、高级现代农业应用技能型人才的重要基地。

It is organized by the original Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Schools in Guizhou, Guizhou Electrical and Mechanical School, Guizhou Agricultural Mechanical School and then formed a full-time ordinary institutions of higher learning, it is a agriculture featuring in higher vocational colleges.College is mainly cultivate agricultural kind of advanced technology, management and service talents, and connecting with the social development needs, it developed mechanical and electrical, economic, food and drug, information, construction and other practical skills and talents. Now it is recruiting students facing from eight provinces and cities, while higher vocational (college) students and secondary vocational students.

College of the existing nine departments, three sections, two centers, namely department of animal husbandry and aquaculture department, electrical department, department of agricultural engineering, landscape engineering department, tea department, food and drug department, department of economic management, the department of information engineering, urban construction and design department, continue to education section, basic education section, the journal editorial section, training and skill appraisal center and information center, modern teaching information center. There are 25 majors in total.

The college now has 255 full-time teachers, 77 of whom have senior titles, 81 of whom have intermediate titles, 4 of whom have doctoral degrees and 67 of whom have master’s degrees.

The college has four campuses, namely Qinzhen, YunYan, Wudang and Kali campuses. The main campus is located in the west part of Guizhou (qingzhen) Vocational Education City. The campus covers an area of nearly 70 hectares, a building area of more than 230,000 m2.The college is an ideal place for studying and studying, it is surrounded by the mountains and the water with beautiful environment and convenient transportation.

The college closely adheres to the construction objective of adapting to the development needs of Guizhou’s regional economy and modern agriculture and persists in running schools with its own characteristics.
